Tenure Promotion: Dr. Robert Balog
REAPER Lab is pleased to announce Director Dr. Robert Balog has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Balog participated in a Power Across Texas Research Advisory Council update teleconference.

PhD candidate Mohammad Shadmand presented his paper, co-authored with PhD candidate Xiao Li, entitled “Model Predictive Control of Grid-tied Photovoltaic Systems: Maximum Power Point Tracking and Decoupled Power Control” at the IEEE First Workshop on Smart Grid & Renewable Energy (SGRE) in Doha, Qatar.

PhD student Morcos Metry presented his paper, co-authored with PhD student Mohammad Shadmand entitled “Sensitivity Analysis to Model Parameter Errors of MPPT by Model Predictive Control for Photovoltaic Applications” at the IEEE First Workshop on Smart Grid & Renewable Energy (SGRE) in Doha, Qatar.
