The REAPER Lab congratulates Ms. Poornima Gulur Chakrapani upon her graduation from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Ms. Chakrapani joined the REAPER Lab in 2024. She earned her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BNM Institute of Technology, India. Her research focused on developing a rapid prototyping workflow for FPGA-based Model Predictive Control (MPC) using MATLAB/Simulink, HDL Coder, Intel Quartus, and Typhoon HIL. Her research developed a complete workflow for rapidly prototyping FPGA-based Model Predictive Control (MPC), integrating MATLAB/Simulink, HDL Coder, Intel Quartus, and Typhoon HIL from controller design to real-time hardware validation. Ms. Chakrapani will be joining Apple as a SoC Physical Design Engineer in San Jose, California.
